Implementation of Validation of Non-Formal and Informal Learning Outcomes in Latvia

On October 25, 2018, the Academic Information Centre (AIC) organized a seminar "Monitoring the Validation of Non-formal and Informal Learning Outcomes in Higher Education".

The aim of the seminar was to familiarize higher education institutions with different experiences in the process of recognition of non-formal and informal learning outcomes in higher education, to present the new self-assessment report "Implementation of Validation of Non-Formal and Informal Learning Outcomes in Latvia", as well as to stimulate discussion on the possibilities of piloting the system of validation of non-formal and informal learning outcomes.  
The seminar was attended by representatives of universities, colleges and the Ministry of Education and Science.  
The seminar was held at "Hotel Astor Riga Hotel".
